MANU SAMOA

Poverty Bay's only previous game against Western Samoa was back in 1976, so it was with great anticipation the Bay welcomed this Pacific Island team to the region. The dazzling style of rugby played by Western Samoa at the last Rugby World Cup, the Super 10 series and in their victory over Scotland, ensured a good attendance at Rugby Park and the fans were not disappointed.
