Poverty Bay Turf Club

The echo of thundering hooves and the sight of horses racing is exciting. The recently held May Meeting at the Racecourse was no exception. Two days of observing, eaves dropping and guessing who the winners will be, puts the speculation skills of the punters to the test. Lady Luck is always a welcome guest at the Poverty Bay meetings..

The first race, The Gisborne Transport Hurdles over 2800m, was won by a nose.
