Gisborne Tatapouri Fishing Club Bay Bonanza Fishing Competition

A large entry in the '93 Bay Bonanza provided the club with plenty of pending records. Doug Crater's 97 kg Pacific big eye tuna caught on a 37 kg line, won the Hicky Top Ten Tuna Competition and a game rod as the 1st prize. He also landed $2500 worth of Daiwa gear in the N Z Professionals Tournament for one of the top four fish caught in the season. Prize catches were displayed at the prize giving function and winners were photographed for the Club records.
