Car Trial!

The annual Keith Mullooly Economy Run staged by the Gisborne Car Club attracted an excellent number of both club and trade sponsored vehicles. The 100 mile (or 209.17km) run went from Gisborne to Frasertown and back over the Whareratas on September 21.

Hans and Pat Kwack in their Sheridan-Owen sponsored Datsun were first overall and first in class (1100-1500cc) with 54.7 mpg. At right is one of the organisers, Merv Merritt.
