Barwick Place Opened
Barwick Place, site of the six new pensioner flats in Wainui Road, was officially opened for the first tenants on May 25. The flats were built by the City Council on land given by the R.S.A. The very neat complex was named in honour of the late Mr Fred Barwick
World War 1 veteran and staunch supporter of the R.S.A.
