Our Cover

The abundance, of fruit, vegetables and flowers in the bounty of nature is clearly seen in this beautiful display. It was arranged by members of the congregation of the Wainui Presbyterian Church to celebrate the recent harvest festival thanksgiving service.

Back Cover . This part of the picturesque East Coast is just south of Tolaga Bay. The foreground water is part of the entrance to Cook's Cove, while the channel separating Pourewa (or Sporing's) Island from the mainland is seen at centre right. Sporing was a naturalist on Cook's "Endeavour."
