The Great Car(T) Trial
The Great F'ordinary Cart Trial was held recently, with outstanding success. The object of the event, which was run by Youth For Christ and sponsored by Gisborne Motors, was to raise money for the great push for houses in Bangladesh. To this end over $300 is now available from Gisborne Youth For Christ for the Bangladesh Village Building Project.
This is the type of house which is being built for the homeless in that unfortunate country.
Winners of the $20 prize for being first in the race (run from Gisborne Motors to the Childers Road Reserve) was the St David's Youth Group. They are shown with their entry, entitled "St David s Snub."
