Open House
An invitation was extended to members of the public and their families to attend an "Open House" at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, on February 15. Members of the church conducted groups of people around the Stout Street Chapel, where various facets of church life were explained through tableaus.
Prior to the excursion, the Chapel Choir sang. The group is, from left, in front, Lena Brown, Whaiora Enoka, Lena Kahuroa, Alice Brown, Olivia Maki and Wati Gudgeon. At back are Paea Thompson, Enoka Maki, Winton Ria, Bill Enoka and Rau Kershaw.
Family life is a strong aspect of church life and the Tait family, of Manutuke, explained what that involved.
