Our Cover

Louise Samuel graces our Cover, this month, dressed in a beautiful red and gold sari, brought back from India by her father, Major Terry Samuel. The sari is made of pure silk and is worked with pure gold thread.

Back Cover Spring was not a little late this year, but this is the springtime view that clients of Elizabeth Barns-Graham's hairdressing salon get from the window of the salon in Fitzherbert Street. Elegant homes grace the other side of the Waimata River, and beyond them can be seen the hill above Waimata Road.
