Woolcraft Awards

Fine finishing and attention to detail were features of this year's entries in the National Co-ordinating Country Women's wool craft competition. The prizes were presented by the guest speaker, Adairs' manager Mr E. De Suza.

Mrs K. Dunlop, Te Karaka, second in double knitting, and Mrs A. Holden, with her mother's (Mrs P. Baker) entry which was second in the home spinning. The winners of each section, Mesdames M. Olds and E. McGurk respectively were absent.
