Golden Weddings

Three golden weddings were celebrated recently and we are pleased to bring you these three couples who have completed their 50th anniversaries.

Former residents of Gisborne, Mr and Mrs A. Mayo celebrated their anniversary in New Plymouth, where they now live. Mr Mayo retired as a senior overseer in the Post Office, Lines Branch..

Mr and Mrs R. M. Williamson, 10 Oak Street, were married in the Holy Trinity Church on February 15, 1922. They have lived at their present address for the past 36 years. Mr Williamson is a retired engineer.

Mr and Mrs A. S. Brown, 14 Collins Street, celebrated their anniversary with a quiet family dinner. The Browns came from Dannevirke seven years ago, when Mr Brown retired as a Postmaster.
