Two For Terry
Mr Terry Rutene, a member of the Waikohu Golf Club, took the two top trophies from a capacity field in the Taki- timu Maori Golf Club's Labour Weekend tournament. These trophies were the Whineray Cup for the best 27-hole aggregate stableford, and the Taki- timu Kiwi Trophy for the best 27-hole gross medal. The trophies were presented by Miss Mabel Kewene, the Takitimu Association's East Coast representative.
