Cover girl this month, for the 200th issue of Photo News, is another 2ZG Gisborne Beach Girl contestant, Lindy Bernstein. Lindy, who is the daughter of Mrs C. J. Bernstein, Mill Road, and a shorthand-typist with the Maori Affairs Department, lists her hobbies as marching, modelling and travel.

This mural is the concentrated and time-consuming handiwork of artist Brian Shepherd, 70 Awapuni Road, and may be seen at Ron Thomas's new Sailaway Fish Shop in de Lautour Road. The mural depicts the Battle of Trafalgar, measures 10 x 8, and took 250 hours of part-time work to complete.
