About People

As part of their project for the Bothamley Shield last year, guides of the Aranga Company were required to make soft toys. This year, on February 6, members of the company visited the children's ward at Cook Hospital and presented the toys to children in the ward for use while in hospital.

After playing the organ at the Wainui Presbyterian Church for 19 years Mrs Mollie Taylor has retired. A morning coffee party was given by members of the Wainui Presbyterian Guild to farewell Mrs Taylor who is coming to live in Gisborne.
