At the annual general meeting and social of the Gisborne branch of the N.Z. Printers' and Related Trades Union, Mr Percy Wilson was awarded his life membership certificate. Reunited for the first time in 43 years were the surviving members of the Rawlings family. This happened when Mrs Doris Scenling and Mrs Belle Smith visited Gisborne while on a New Zealand tour. Pictured in the uniforms of the 1914-18 war in which they served are Messrs Benjamin Reedy and Rehai Morris of Te Karaka.

From Mrs Reedy, both are shown as they are today. Mr Reedy was with the N.Z. Forest Service, and Mr Morris had farming interests, before they retired.

Colleen Janice Walters celebrated her coming of age recently. Colleen, the daughter of Mr and Mrs "Spot" Walters, 1 Russell Street, is pictured cutting her cake.

Graeme Jobson also celebrated his 21st birthday recently. He is the son of Mrs R. A. Jobson, Dominey Street.
