Four Grades Compete
Teams from Wainui Beach, Makauri, Ormond, Makaraka, and Awapuni gathered at Waikirikiri School recently for an afternoon of athletics.
Winners of the girls' relay are Maree Jackson, Pauline Robinson, Shirley Broughton, and Sharon Newcomb of Awapuni.
Winners of the boys' relay are Robert Poi, Rawhira Wharehinga, David Rare, and Nigel Brown (front) of Waikirikiri.
Crossing the finish line in the 75 yds for nine-year-old girls is Brenda Davies of Makauri.
