Skill And Ingenuity...

Pupils of the Awapuni School displayed these attributes in their recent exhibition. The display which was inspired by Cook Week consisted of paintings, models, photographs, museum items, Maori art, maps, essays, space exploration, and many other subjects.

Most definitely the nucleus of the display was this magnificent model of Poverty Bay complete with Maori pas, canoes, and the Endeavour. Pictured with the model are Michael Turney, Alison Niven, Bruce Nicholas, and Ricky Lugtig.
