The Riches of Poverty Bay
That Captain Cook mistakenly named this area Poverty Bay is no more evident each year than at the Agricultural and Pastoral Show. The riches of Poverty Bay are abundantly clear and are represented in the wealth of cattle, sheep and farm produce that are on display. Other attractions make the day an occasion for the whole family.
