Clean Bill

Out of more than 20 candidates who undertook a course in hygiene management only seven remained at the end of the course to gain their certificates. Entrants came from establishments which handle food, supermarkets, grocery stores, etc. The course was organised by the Health Department and the City Council, and contained some very tough sections to negotiate. From left, in front: William Rangihuna, Rangi Walker, William Whaitiri. At back: Paul Maxwell, Warren Ovenden and Grant Taylor. They are pictured with Chief Health Inspector, Bob Hall, and Supervising Inspector of Health, Rob Findon.
