The new D.B. Hotel in Kaiti is now under construction. This is the first stage as seen from Huxley Road.

The old building housing the Signal Station has been handed over to the Yacht Club which will use it as a new shore base. Club members are also levelling the area and putting up brush shelters to establish a picnic area for families which go out yachting.
