All in a Good Cause

Valued at $75,000 Elvis Presley's Golden Cadillac was on display at Sheridan-Owen Motors for three days recently. An entrance fee was charged but all proceeds went to N.Z. Catholic Charities and the Gisborne Community Hall, The sumptuous vehicle contained, among other refinements, an ice making machine, a gold plated telephone, a shoe polisher, air conditioning and a record player (for gold records, naturally).
