Exciting Polo

In a fast, exciting game, Hawkes Bay B defeated Poverty Bay A by four goals to three after taking extra time to decide the game at the Poverty Bay Polo Club's annual tournament held at Bushmere. This game was staged as the main attraction on the second day and proved exactly that.

Another feature of the weekend's play was the emergence of the new Tiniroto team which carried off the junior handicap after great displays of horsemanship.
