Yachting Champs

The East Coast yachting and North Island Finn championships were held on the bay over Anniversary weekend when conditions were good with a fair wind and a slight swell. Clive Roberts of Auckland took both titles from other competitors who came from Tauranga, Rotorua, Napier, Wairoa and Gisborne.
