New Milk Silo

A 10,000 gallon insulated silo tank for the storage of raw milk has been installed in the Wairoa Dairy Co.'s milk powder plant. It was supplied by an Auckland firm at a cost of $6,000.

The Company also has a 5,000 gallon tank of similar design, and the milk powder plant is expected to be operating about mid October.
