A cordon of Girls' Life Brigade members greeted Pauline Edith, only daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Blair, 27 Salisbury Road, and Tony Roydon Ross, only son of Mr and Mrs H. T. Ross, 8 Anzac Street, when they left the Methodist Church after their wedding recently. Attendants were Miss June Preston and Mr John Boggs.

A shower of confetti, looking like snow, greeted Janet, daughter of Mr and Mrs F. McAneney, Gladstone Road, and Novis Brian, son of Mr and Mrs S. McKee, Tokomaru Bay, outside Holy Trinity Church.
