Parish House Moved

Monk Bros took on a decent sized house-moving Job when they shifted the Catholic residence from Patutahi into Makaraka recently. The house, which was shifted in two parts, was placed on new foundations on the lot next to the church.

An addition to the church last July was the Italian Tyrol handmade wooden shrine which was given, to the church by an anonymous donor. Known as a wayside shrine, and easily seen from the road, the shrine is 18 inches high and is mounted on a stand 10 feet from the ground.
