Brilliant Badminton

The visit of members of the touring Australian badminton team to Gisborne afforded the public and enthusiasts the opportunity of witnessing some fast top-class play.

The Gisborne team which played against the visitors acquitted itself well. Here one of its members, Geoff Pollard, reaches out to return the "bird" during a rally.
