Mokau Falls

This picture shows the Mokau Falls, one of the many scenic attractions in the Lake Waikaremoana area.

Situated on the north-east corner of the lake, and about ten miles on from the Lake House hotel, these pretty falls cascade down about 100 feet to a small pool below the road level. Although sign-posted, the falls are quite easily missed unless you stop as soon as you see the sign.
