Silver Jubilee: Celebrating the 25th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood is Father H. Jillings of St.Mary's parish, Opotiki.
At a function held in Opotiki, where Father Jillings was suitably feted, pupils of St.Joseph's School provided the entertainment.
More than forty waterfront sportsmen went to Christchurch for the annual Interport Sports. Although some went down by private transport the majority flew south by chartered aircraft. Pictured at 5.30AM are members and wives about to emplane.
