Members of the Waikanae Beach Society of 1924 are shown in that year meeting the then Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey, at the beach.

Cameron, F. Cassin, H. Wyles, G. A. Nicholls, (centre), Mesdames E. Stevenson, A. Gray, H. Pope, W. D. Lysnar, (front), Mr H. H. De Costa, Mr MaSsey, Messrs T. Adair (Chairman of the Society), W. D. Lysnar, (M.P.), K. S. Williams (later Minister of Works), and G. M. Reynolds (Cook County Chairman).
The only survivors of the group are Messrs Cox, Barker, Ball and Nicholls.
