The first New Zealand secondary school rugby team to tour New South Wales was the Te Aute College 1st XV in 1904. They played six matches of which they won four and drew two. Still around are Bill Rangi of Gisborne and the Reverend W. Rangi who has retired in Ruatoki.

After living in Heathmont, Melbourne, for the past 20 years, Mrs C. C. Kerslake, with her husband and son Colin, is to return to New Zealand and reside in Auckland. Formerly Rona, the youngest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Epiha-Te-Ao Tamihana of Mangaheia, Mrs Kerslake is pictured with Mrs T. Tangohau of Arataha
