Orphans Ladies' Night
The Gisborne Orphans Club held its annual Ladies' Night in the R.S.A. Hall at which members turned on the entertainment and provided the amusement for their guests.

The official party for the evening is, at back. Bill Sutherland (immediate past chief orphan), Tom Yates, Wellington (Dominion president), and in front, Les Warham, Napier (president central group), and Keith Stichbury (Gisborne chief orphan).
Looking pretty pleased with themselves are the "backroom boys" who are, from left, Jack Booth, Arthur Gardiner, Frank Pollard, Maurie Cox and Bruce Wotherspoon.
