Max Stevens, recently graduated B.E., has left to do a Post Graduate course in Aeronautical Engineering in England for two years. Max is the eldest son of Mr and Mrs Trevor Stevens, Christchurch, and a grandson of Mrs P. R. Stevens, and the late Mr Stevens.

Mrs Denis Guyan, formerly Cynthia Nunns, recently graduated B Sc. at Auckland University.

Karen Johansen, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs H. A. Johansen, 154 Whitaker St, has graduated B.A. in English.

All cousins, except the two boys, who are brothers, is this talented group. The boys are Lester and Glenton Waugh, sons of Mr and Mrs A. Waugh, Gisborne, the girl is Raewyn King, daughter of Mr and Mrs N. B. King, Mahia, and they are pictured with Doreen Morrow, daughter of Mr and Mrs I. Morrow, who is of course well known as a member of the Elizabethan Theatre in Australia. The children did very well in the recent competitions winning several musical and dancing events.

The winner of the recently sponsored competition on a design for a welcome sign at the airport was won by Mark Trafford, whose entry is shown here. Mark is the son of Mr and Mrs Edgar Trafford, Matawai.

Alison Burborough, 17, the daughter of Mr and Mrs H. J. Burborough, 33 Cobden Street, was the winner of a competition run by a city store, in which she had to say why she liked radio station 2ZG. Her prize is a dinner set.
