At a ceremony held racently at the Boys' High School, Major G. T. Marsden was presented with the Cadets Corps Medal, which is awarded to those who have given 12 years' efficient service to the corps

Previously in the corps at Te Aute and St. Steven's colleges, he has been teaching at the Boys' High School since 1962, and has been commander of the corps since 1963.
