Nurses' Graduation
Five nurses received their medals and prizes at the graduation ceremony held at the Cook Hospital recently.
Speakers at the well-attended function were Mr J. B. Williams (chairman of the board), Mr T. Lawrie (medical superintendent), and the matron, Miss Y. J. Sinclair, while an address was given by Miss G. E. Clifford-Jones, a Department of Health Nurse Inspector.
The five nurses, cutting the graduation cake, are, from left, Judith Davidson, Mary Foss, Jocelyn Green, Jan McConnell and Lynette Anderson.
Nurse Mitchell recited the Florence Nightingale pledge.
Nurse J. Ferguson, highest aggregate 1st year.
