Railways Gym End-of-Season Closing

The members of Bill Thornton's Railways Gym held a gettogether to mark the end of the boxing season for the year.

Mums and Dads arrived and turned on a surprise supper for the boys after their last night of training.

With the considerable number of cups they have won before them, the boys are from left, at back, Bill Byrne, Derek Woodford, Hilton Vette, and in front Joseph Nukunuku, Tom Collier, Arthur Hong, Ross O'Connell and Max Carruthers.
