The pride of Gisborne golfers, Heather Booth, daughter of Mr and Mrs G. J. O. Booth, Ngatapa, features on our cover this month.

A member of the Tasman Cup team who recently played in Melbourne, Heather showed magnificent form when she was a winner in the Australian Foursomes series, and was then runner-up in the Australian Women's Open when she took her opponent, Gail Corry, to the 37th. Great golf and a wonderful effort.
