Makauri School Capers

The kids had the time of their lives at the Makauri school fancy dress dance this year. Costumes were original and were shown off to advantage by the wearers.

If you go down in the woods today you're just as likely to meet witches, Indians, swaggers or even Robin Hood. The witch is Richard Davies, and from left the others are David Teesdale, Patrick Dolan, Chris Clarke and David Corbett.

Ready for the grand march are Sandra McGregor, Stephanie Bull, Shona Mills and Diane Ingram.

A couple of Eastern potentates are Loni Lardelli and Paul Tietjen.

The 'terrors of the Whareratas' are Ihaia Crooks, Brian King, Ian Donaldson, Jimmy Brown and Neil Carr.
