These two pictures show the replacement of the war memorial statue after the recent earthquake.
Television personality, Ian Johnstone, receives some notes from army journalist, Sgt. Miles Singe of Kaiti. These were taken when the "Compass" team were on location at Waiouru recently making a programme on defence.
Successful Skaters: Cheryl Clayton (left) and Maria Henderson competed successfully at the Cambridge Skating Club's open trophy day. Cheryl was 3rd in the open intermediate for boys and girls and Maria was 2nd in the open Junior championship.
