Returning once again to Gisborne, Millie Small had her audience swinging with her bouncy West Indian style. Ranging from her old favourites to new numbers she kept the full Opera House happy.

Possessed of abundant energy and a strong but pleasing voice, Jackie Edwards, a new-comer to the entertainment scene, made a good impression with his song and dance.
