Invasion

Gisborne was subject to an "invasion" recently when members of the Hastings Tin Hat Club arrived en masse by bus in this city. Suitably attired in a variety of the appropriate dress the visitors were challenged (?) at Adair's corner and, after parading through the streets, were warmly welcomed at the R.S.A. rooms.

Hilarity, as usual, was the keynote of the occasion and humour was abundant throughout the visit. The visitors provided a most enjoyable concert in the evening and supper and a social followed.
