Horses For Courses

A three-day horse-jumping carnival was held at the Show Grounds recently and a large crowd attended each day.

Local, New Zealand, and Australian competitors were there and the jumping was of a high standard.

A feature of the Saturday's programme was the trotting card of six races in which good trotters were seen in some close finishes.
