Comings And Goings

Mr Trevor Timms, son of Mr R. fimms, 62 Atkinson Street, who recently returned to Gisborne for a short holiday after several years overseas working as an oil driller. He will be returning to his job on an off-shore rig in the Persian Gulf off Saudi Arabia next month.

Mr Lyall Flett, who has come to Gisborne from Invercargill to manage the Majestic Theatre and the Opera House. Originally from Dunedin, Lyall is married with one son, and will live in upper Awapuni Road.

Mr J. Livingston, 401 Palmerston Road, is returning to Scotland with his grandson Tony Compton, 14-year-old son of Mr and Mrs H. Compton, 401 Palmerston Road, for six months' holiday. Although born in Scotland, Mr Livingston has lived in Gisborne for 50 years, and will be visiting his sisters at Paisley, near Glasgow.

American Field Exchange Scholar Marion Evans, daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Evans, Ormond Road, pictured with her parents on her return home after one year's schooling in the U.S.A. She is holding an invitation issued to her and her American "parents" to the inauguration ceremony of President Johnson.

Mr and Mrs Roy Wood, 52 Eallance Street, who are at present on a holiday in the South Pacific, during which they will visit Australia and Fiji.
