New Ngatapa Rugby Ground Opened

The Ngatapa Rugby Club opened its new clubrooms and playing field at the Patutahi Domain with a brief ceremony between matches on a recent Saturday.

The president of the Poverty Bay Rugby Union, Mr Birnie Wolstenholme, declared the new headquarters opened, and his wife kicked off the main game of the day.

On the field, Ngatapa teams acquitted themselves well, winning their junior game against Old Boys, and drawing the senior match, against last year's champions, High School Old Boys.
