Pictures From The Past
Here are Bob Smith, of Highbank, Canterbury, and Harry Healey, of Gisborne, when they, were about 18 years of age, around 1920, proudly displaying their early-model motorcycles. The machine at left is a 1902 King Dick, and at right a 56 h.p. twin opposed-cylinder Harley Davidson. Mr Healey spent most of his working life as a P. & T. overseer on the East Coast.
