Accent On Youth

Members of the Gisborne Civic Junior Band, assisted by other talented young artists, gave a most impressive concert in the Intermediate School assembly hall.

Taught and conducted by Mr Bill Cooper, the 29-strong junior band has members ranging in age from eight to 17.

The concert, which is to be an annual event, was organised entirely by the young musicians, and was considered a great success by all present.
