Christmas Pantomine

The Unity Theatre's Christmas pantomine this year should prove a winner with Gisborne audiences, young. and old, with its gay and colourful scenery and characters bringing the age-old tale of Aladdin and his magic lamp to the stage.

The opening performance in the Opera House on Saturday, 12th December, for a one-week season, will be the culmination of three months of rehearsals, under the guiding hand of producer Mrs Pat Woodford.

Set in Peking, China, the pantomine has a cast of more than 60, and will feature modern music adapted by chorus mistress and musical director, Mrs Jolene Baird.

The following pictures were taken at Mr and Mrs C. Bell's residence, Oswald Street.
