Extensions to Hall

It is said there are all kinds of bees in Gisborne, but one of the most popular is that known as the "working bee". In this issue of "Photo News" there are pictures of at least six groups of civicminded people at work on community projects around town.

Voluntary workers are making extensions to the Mangapapa Scout-Guide Hall in Bryce Street. The main hall is being extended by 18 feet and three smaller rooms are being added. As funds permit, interior work will be completed. The original hall was built 22 years ago.
