The A. and P. Show

The Poverty Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Association's 1962 two-day show proved, as in other years, to be a grand success, with keen entries in the competitive sections, a complete and comprehensive display of trade appliances, all the fun of side-show alley, and a good crowd.

Although a short downpour on the Friday afternoon suggested a dismal future, the weather was otherwise well behaved, and turned on brilliant sunshine for the "people's day", adding the final touches to a wonderful outing for all concerned.
