At Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Linley Mary, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs A. M. Trafford, Te Karaka, to Andrew Robert, son of the late Mr and Mrs R. Henderson, Doonhill, Whakarau. Both are members, of pioneer families. Attendants at left are Mr R. Williams (Wellington) and Miss Mary Trafford, of Gisborne (a cousin). Ethel Fay, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Alfred Ward, "Five Rivers" Station, Southland, who was recently married to Mr Francis Edward M. Orr, of "Auchterarder", Gisborne. The bride is a grand-niece of the late Archbishop Redwood.

At St. Mary's Church, Noelene, the fourth daughter of Mrs M. J. and the late Mr T. C. Hatten, Childers Road, to Ken, youngest son of Mrs A. and the late Mr Hobbs, Te Karaka. Attendants at left are Mr Nolan Trotter and Mrs John Mossman, and at right, Mr Peter Lesuer and Mrs N. Waddell. The young couple will make their home at Te Karaka.
